What is the Cohort Program?

The Cohort Program is a program that mentors minority students with STEM dreams and helps them achieve them. Those in the Cohort Program are taught Calculus, given ACT tutoring, college prep, and a laptop! Our students boast impressive averages of a 24.4 composite ACT and have already earned 15 college credits!

TOF Cohort Culminating Program

The Technology Outreach Foundation's Cohort Culminating Program is an event celebrating the hard work of the students in our Cohort Program! The 9 students in the Cohort Program have been hard at work for 16 weeks learning Calculus I, studying for the ACT, preparing for their post-secondary endeavors, and have even earned a laptop! To celebrate their hard work while enjoying special performances and amazing food, purchase a ticket here!

Quincy Johnson, '26

As a future Anesthesiologist, Quincy plans to make waves for more future black medical students like him! By receiving a laptop, he'll be prepared to succeed for over 12 years throughout his undergraduate school, graduate school, and residency.

Amari Wright, '27

With dreams of being a software engineer, granting Amari a laptop would do wonders for her future in tech! It would allow her to develop coding projects of her own, gaining technical experience and participating in hackathons to evolve her skills.

Madalynn Campbell, '26

As a future biomedical engineer, Madalynn will be able to use her laptop in college to change lives! By taking advantage of new generative AI, she'll be able to use the new tech to develop revolutionary solutions to medical problems worldwide!

Carly Hall, '27

As a future Anesthesiologist, Carly has a long road ahead of her just like Quincy. With a laptop, she hopes to engage in the intersection between the arts and medicine, creating solutions for pain management.

Rakyah Watson, '26

By granting Rakyah a laptop, she'll be able to satisfy her unmatched intellectual vitality for marketing and business. As a future business analyst, who knows how big her impact will be!

William Little, '27

William loves to engage in the intersections between photography, engineering, and lawmaking. As a future owner of multiple businesses, his laptop will enable him to increase the production quality of his photos exponentially!

Khadija Jackson, '26

As an athlete leading the Middle College girl's basketball team to state, Khadija is exploring the intersection between architecture and basketball! By receiving a laptop, Khadija could simulate her artistic creations to create sustainable solutions in athletics as a civil engineer.

Ryan Robinson, '26

As a future pilot, Ryan loves playing football and leading his teammates as captain of the Middle College football team. By receiving a laptop, Ryan can prepare for his future as a pilot and explore flight paths using drones.

Mackenzie Farmer, '27

By receiving a laptop, Mackenzie can explore fields in digital marketing and accounting! By learning higher math, she'll be able to explore her passion for math with professors!
