The Cohort Program is a program that takes minority students with STEM dreams and helps them achieve them. Those in the Cohort Program are taught Calculus, given ACT tutoring, college prep, and a laptop! But, the laptops aren't free! To check out more about the cohort program, click here!

Apply to as many scholarships as possible! There are so many out there, all you have to do is look up "scholarships for xxx", where xxx is your demographic, like black students, computer science students, etc. Thankfully, there are some who've done the hard work for you. Check out the scholarship list on the left containing 100 scholarships to apply to!
A general rule of thumb for resumes is to be sweet and get to the point. Harvard University has a great template for those trying to create the best resumes. Colleges and scholarships want to see what you're involved in in high school, so check out their template on the left to properly format your extracurriculars in a professional manner!
Recommendations are an underrated part of the college admissions process. Choose two people who know you the most that can speak to the amazing things you've done throughout high school.
